I am a freelance illustrator currently based in Cornwall. I specialise in creating characters that you want to feel sorry for. When I'm not working on commerical work, I balance my personal work between comics, sketchbooks and paintings. I try to adapt my style and sense of humour to anything I can, from graffiti to tshirts to action figures. I have exhibited paintings and action figures worldwide including, Germany, San Francisco, and London. I love collecting strange action figures, mutants and monsters and weird comics, which feed into my work. My interests and inspirations include: silver-age comic books, pulp fiction, lowbrow art, Hieronymus Bosch, Outsider art, Fletcher Hanks, old science fiction and horror imagery, megadrive games, David Lynch, Gary Panter, Henry Rousseau and Richard Scarry.
Jack Teagle will be joining us at the Falmouth 24Hr Comic challenge.
